About finding a sense of community despite of circumstance and creating something you can put on and feel seen in - a quiet signal that you are part of something, even on the days that don’t feel easy.

The word Adelphi comes from a Greek word meaning siblings or from the same womb. For us, it speaks to the fact you cannot choose your family, but you can build a chosen one.
Our Story
Adelphi is for anyone who has ever felt outside the stereotypical “norms”. It stands for belonging and connection, without having to say a word.
Adelphi: More Than a Brand
Adelphi is a social organisation founded by Bethaney Dixon to support care-experienced young people across the UK when navigating independence, as well as supporting organisations to promote positive change and inclusion.
Adelphi exists to bridge the gap between formal services and the reality of navigating independence much younger than most. It offers practical support, guidance, and initiatives to remove barriers left from the lack of traditional support networks.
The aim is simple: to support both young people and organisations whilst making independence feel a little more possible, and a lot more human.
